Lamar made a statement: "I'm sorry that things didn't work out better for both of us, but I wish the Mavs' organization, my teammates and Dallas fans nothing but continued success in the defense of their championship."
Although Lamar will leave the team ASAP, he will not be cut. Instead he will be listed as "inactive" which means that he can still be traded at the end of the season.
Lamar's game has been lack luster as of late, and some speculate that he hasn't really been as "enthusiatic" as in previous seasons.
Lamar and his wife Khloe just leased a condo in Dallas, and were to begin taping new shows for their family reality show...those plans have been halted and are now up in the air while they figure things out.
