In her tweeting speaks on Alicia Keys, Kanye, and Wayne (although I didn't even know he was DJ'ing?). Spin says this is just a trend and they are not respecting the craft, nor do they know what they are doing. She even offered to give lessons.

Spin does admit that back in the Salt & Pepa days she did use to rap a little on a few songs, but she never claimed to be a rapper.
Although we live in this digital age, does it mean anyone with the right tools/equipment can call themselves a DJ? Should these singers/rappers just stay in their lane?
