The brother of Knicks star Amar'e Stoudemire was killed Monday in a Florida car crash.
Hazell Stoudemire, 35, rammed his speeding 2007 Cadillac Escalade into the rear of a tractor-trailer on U.S. 27 in Lake Wales, officials said.
He was not wearing a seatbelt and was killed instantly.
Amar'e Stoudemire, who grew up in Lake Wales, was heading to Florida and will miss Monday’s night game against the Utah Jazz at Madison Square Garden.The Knicks also have games this week in Washington Wednesday, against the Lakers on Friday in New York and in Minnesota on Saturday.
