Chief Bill Lee Of Sanford PD Steps Down & Rapper Jasiri X's Song/Video for Trayvon

While anger, outrage, and frustration is reaching a fever pitch over the senseless murder of 17 year old Trayvon Martin, Rapper Jasiri X pens a song and releases a video called - Trayvon.

In this video Jasiri walks to the corner store for a bag of Skittles and a can of Iced Tea, mimicking the same actions that Trayvon took on that fateful night.

Jasiri hopes that this song and video will bring about an arrest and conviction of Geroge Zimmerman, the man responsible for shooting and killing young Trayvon.

Hopefully this video will also higlight and raise awareness for injustices throughout the U.S. and the world.

UPDATE:

Sanford Police Department Chief Bill Lee stepped down temporarily in the wake of the Trayvon Martin killing. Lee had insisted there was no probable cause to arrest George Zimmerman, the overzealous neighborhood watchman who shot the unarmed teen as he went out to buy a bag of Skittles.
