Good news, Aaliyah fans: An album of the late singer's unreleased material is on the way, according to Jeffrey "J. Dub" Walker. The producer, who co-wrote the tracks "I Refuse" and "What If" for her self-titled 2001 album, tweeted Sunday, "Just got great news today; the smash unreleased song called 'Steady Ground' I produced on #Aaliyah is gonna be on her upcoming album:)."
Walker told the site You Know I Got Soul the following Sunday, regarding "Steady Ground," "It was really the first single after 'Rock the Boat,' but my engineer was mixing the record and somehow lost the vocals. So the vocals that you hear are really just the demo vocals. The final vocals got erased, so yeah. So that's why it didn't make the album.
