SPARKLE: View Trailer from Whitney Houston's Final Film!! View Inside

Sony Pictures released the trailer from the highly anticipated re-make Sparkle on the Today Show this morning.  The film's all star cast includes Whitney Houston, Jordin Sparks, Derek Luke, Tika Sumpter, Cee Lo Green and Mike Epps. 


Sparkle is about three sisters who form a successful all girl signing group, but then have to face the repercussions that success can bring.  Whitney, who also executive produced the film, stars as the mother of the three girls. 2007 American Idol Winner Jordin Sparks plays the led role of Sparkle.

Many are anxiously waiting to see Whitney since this was her last project prior to her untimely death, and her first acting gig since The Bodyguard. 
The film is set to be released in August 2012
