TLC's Toddler and Tiaras contestant Alana aka "Honey Boo Boo Child" aka "Holler for a Dollar" has created quite a stir! The 6 year old child has more personality than someone twice her age, but some think that her mother June is completely out of line for her win at all costs attitude.
Alana who regularly uses phrases like "Honey Boo Boo Child" and "I'll Holler for a Dollar" sips on her infamous Go Go Juice right before each pageant. The Go Go Juice, which is a concotion of Mountain Dew and Red Bull, is supposed to give her a little extra ooomph for each performance.
Her mother, who is a self proclaimed "couponer" says that all pageant
moms give their daughters something to help give them an extra boost of energy. When the usual pixie sticks aka "pageant crack" didn't seem to have any affect on Alana, her mom decided to mix soda and red bull now known as Go Go Juice to give Alana a sugar rush!
In a day and age where childhood obesity is prevalent, Alana's mom encourages her daughter to jiggle her belly at the judges and embrace her chubbiness. She also has a "Daisy Duke" routine where Alana is wearing a midriff and short shorts.
