WTF Files: Havoc Shuts Down His Twitter Account; Now Claiming Page Was Hacked!?!?!

So confused....

After going all the way innnnn on his Mobb Deep partner on Twitter, it seems that Havoc has recanted and claims that his phone was in fact lost at a gas station and hacked by someone else...and that all is well between him and Prodigy.  As a result of the "hacking" Havoc's twitter page has been temporarily shut down.
Havoc released a statement: “Just getting back into NY after my Easter weekend with family and friends in Jersey. I left my phone at a gas station yesterday evening while on my way to Jersey after a glorious Knick’s game. To all Mobb Deep fans: it’s business as usual! It’s Mobb Deep all day!!! My twitter account @THEREALHAVOC will be down until further notice. The only other real account is @PRODIGYMOBBDEEP. Ignore the rest. One!”

Several reports claimed that Havoc did confirm his page was NOT hacked yesterday when the illicit tweets were posted, Sway from MTV news says that he got confirmation yesterday from Havoc that he did indeed send the tweets.

While Havoc’s Twitter account is no longer live there is alleged audio of him talking about slapping Prodigy at SXSW.  Radio hosts the Breakfast Club played it on the air and had a friend of Havoc, Noreaga, call in to “verify” the voice on the recording.  Listen to audio below...

Since then - Havoc has called in to the Breakfast Club today to re-iterate that the audio is NOT him, stating: “NORE don’t know me like that,” he said. “NORE is mad cool but he don’t know something to verify something like that.”

What does Prodigy have to say about all of this??

Prodigy stated on his own Twitter account:  “I M A FATHER ,AN ADULT, IM NOT HERE TO BEEF IM HERE TO MAKE MUSIC” and then added later “INFAMOUS TILL MY DEATH BOX” with a link to the song “Don’t Be A Follower.”

I'm still scratching my head on this one.  I want to believe that this was just the result of a hacking...but something, something, something, something just ain't right....*Keith Sweat voice*
