TLC Reunion Tour will Feature Left Eye a la Tupac/Coachella Style

We knew Coachella was only be the beginning...

Per TMZ, the R&B group TLC plans on reuniting for a U.S. Tour in late 2012.  Reps for the group have confirmed that 5 major U.S. cities have already been booked, with more on the way. It has been almost 10 years since TLC did a major tour in the U.S.

But the biggest shocker of all is that T-Boz and Chilli plan to incorporate the late Lisa Left Eye Lopes into their shows.  Left Eye's image will be projected on a big screen during the shows and they plan on including her voice on several songs as well.

I am excited that TLC is touring and think it will be ultra hot to include Left Eye into their concerts and shows.

I think this is only the beginning of "digitally resurrecting" music artists...but is it to pay homage to the deceased?  Or is it an exploitation of the dead, and being used as a means for driving up ticket sales? Honestly, I do not think that T-Boz and Chilli are trying to exploit Left Eye, but merely paying homage to their "sister" and bandmate.

Some other artist that I would like to see perform again, even if only in hologram form: Biggie, Aaliyah, Jam Master Jay (with Run DMC), Micheal Jackson, Whitney Houston, James Brown, and Rick James and Teena Marie! :)

BTW - Today also marks the 10th anniversary of the death of Left Eye. R.I.P. LL!
